Thank you for visiting my website, my name is Carrie Paquette. I am an emerging Canadian artist. I was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I grew up in a small town called Alliston, Ontario. I am currently living a beautiful city called Barrie, Ontario. I have lived here for the past 18 years with my husband and 3 children.
I graduated with Honours from "Gerorgian College of Applied Arts and Technology", DESIGN ART/GRAPHIC DESIGN in 1989. I was brought up in a very musical family. My dad being a musician and a music teacher of many instruments. And my siblings were all very talented in their musical abilities. There was never a day that went by with out the sound of drums, guitars or a piano being practised in my house. It wasn't long before my parents discovered my artistic talent and enroled me in some painting/drawing classes. My mother and I are the artistic ones in the family. I can still remember her driving me up a very steep hill in a very old car to arrive where I took some painiting lessons at the age of 11. We always made it to our destination in one piece even when it felt like an impossible task. So I am very thankful for my parents support then and now. We all have some gifts and talents that God has given us to use, and it is very satisfying to be able to bring joy to others.
My paintings are said to stir up fond memories of life and home. I hope to create pleasant visuals for your home to be cherished and passed down as heirlooms for years to come. I enjoy painting, animals, landscapes, houses and my newest subject is "Skies". My goal is to reflect the beauty of God's creations using my gift of creativity. And that God's goodness would shine through my art.
